Such is the case with the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, whose purpose is to ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of materials and parts. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will also ensure accurate inventory throughout the warehouse and be required to work cross-functionally to help support both internal and external client needs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>What you\u2019ll be doing<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Perform accurate and timely processing of shipments to and from the service team and\/or customers including monitoring back-orders<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Perform accurate and timely receipt of parts to warehouse inventory<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Perform periodic inventorying of the warehouse<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Responsible for cycle counting parts in the warehouse<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Perform general housekeeping duties as needed<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>A bit about the physical demands of this job<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Push or pull up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Stand or walk throughout entire shift<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Twist, bend or squat on a regular basis<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>What you bring to the table<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is the profile of what we are looking for in our ideal candidate:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">High School Diploma or equivalent<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Forklift certification and Haz-mat certification and\/or training is preferred<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2 -5 years of experience working in a warehouse or similar environment<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Previous experience sending and receiving domestic and international shipments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Familiar with shipping processes, ERP and similar systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Computer savvy and able to enter data into multiple systems;<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Microsoft Office experience preferred<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">FedEx and UPS shipping software experience preferred<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sage and Astea experience a plus<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Strong communication\/interpersonal skills<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ability to read, write and understand the English language<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Strong work ethic and efficient work approach<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Process and task oriented, with strong attention to detail<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Good judgment and problem solving skills; readily adapt to change<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Desire and ability to strive for continuous improvement<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ability to provide after-hours coverage as needed<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>And now\u2026<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Is this role a great fit for you?
