The Tau G3 Core is compact and intuitive, producing at speeds up to 61 m/min (200 ft/min) at print widths of wither 24 mm or 338 mm (9.6 in or 13.3 in). The core delivers exceptional 1,200 dpi resolution and supports CMYK plus extended gamut options, making the G3 Core the perfect embodiment of effortless engineering, unwavering reliability and exceptional performance.
The Next Generation in UV Inkjet Label Printing
Built on the proven Tau RSC design, Durst is opening the next chapter in digital labels printing with the new G3 line. Users benefit from maximum print quality, easy operation, integrated software solutions, and a platform designed for reliability and future-proof performance. G3 introduces intuitive LED status displays, improved ergonomics, and optimized serviceability. A redesigned cooling system, electrical cabinet, and improved component accessibility simplify handling and maintenance. The ergonomic inspection unit, equipped with D50/RGB lighting and flexible adapters for inspection systems, further enhances process reliability.
The Tau G3 also integrates the new Durst ARC (Automatic Register Control) for real-time color registration, waste reduction, and quality enhancement, and the new Durst MEP (Material Edge Protection), which safeguards printheads with optical edge sensors and protective plates.
In addition, Durst HAWK AI, Durst’s intelligent monitoring and assistance system, can be included to automate the color to color register and to provide closed loop nozzle correction during printing.
